The Driving Force takes anyone who has cancer and is registered with a GP in Bonnybridge, Denny or Banknock to hospital appointments for FREE.

Forth Bridge Crossing

Many thanks to Judith Fraser and everyone who supported and sponsored her. She raised an amazing £868 walking across the new Forth Crossing.

Ben Nevis Climb

Many, many thanks and congratulations to 9 year old Liam Sherry who climbed Ben Nevis in pouring rain, with his family and friends. He wanted to help us as we had taken his Nana to hospital. He raised the amazing total of £4360.00!!

Amazing fundraiser

Many thanks to Jenna Smith who while doing her school exams has raised £4000 which she has donated 4 charities: The Driving Force, So Precious, Relationship Scotland and DASH. She arranged a variety night, 3 quiz nights a psychic night and a bingo night.

Event: Line Dancing Night

Fancy a good dance-saddle up, strap on your boots and come to a line dancing night in aid of The Driving Force. On Tuesday 12th September 7-9pm at Bonnybridge Community Centre. Bring your own soft drinks tickets £5 on the door

Stirling District Classic Car Club

Many thanks to Stirling District Classic Car Club who raised £4000 for us and money for other charities too at their event in May.

Event: Coffee morning

There will be a Driving Force coffee morning at St Helen's Church hall Bonnybridge on 20th May 10-12. There is always a fantastic selection of home baking so do come if you can.

dialysis patients

We now take people who are registered with a Bonnybridge or Denny GP to dialysis sessions if they do not have their own transport. Please contact your GP reception if you are interested in this and one of our coordinators will contact you.

Fantastic fundraising

Tom & his son Gary raised £2000 at various completions @ Bonnybridge bowing club throughout the year he was assisted by Robert Heeps & his assistant,Laura from "The Canal Inn" in Camelon. This is his final year, of many years, of his fundraising events and he split the fund between Strathcarron Hospice & the Driving Force. Co-op fund

If you have/get a co-op card-which costs £1-you earn 5% and the charities chosen by the store get 1% of the value of Co-op branded products you buy. Denny has chosen 3 charities and we are one of them.

If you shop at the Co-op please consider getting a card to help us, or other charities if you shop in other Co-op stores.

If you are in the Denny store please chat to the staff about the Driving Force so they can spread the word about us and more people will know we are there to help them.

half marathon fundraiser

Many thanks to Nic Scott and to all her friends and relations who sponsored her. Nic ran the Glasgow half marathon in aid of Driving Force. She did it in the amazing time of 2 hours and 10 minutes and raised the even more amazing total of £1215.52.
